When Bagatelle, a nationally recognized hospitality brand, chose to bring its restaurant concept to the iconic Gosman’s property in Montauk, the project called for signage that could balance two important goals: honoring the character of a historic East End destination while introducing a bold new identity for a completely reimagined restaurant and nightlife experience. With the transformation including not only a new restaurant but also the addition of a nightclub, every detail needed to feel elevated, intentional, and unforgettable.

The Solution: Hamptons Signs was proud to partner on this exciting transformation, creating a custom signage package designed to reflect the upscale energy of the Bagatelle brand while complementing the unique character of the location. Our work includes 3D acrylic lettering, brass dimensional signage, carved signs, personalized flags, and a standout custom directional pole pointing to Bagatelle’s other locations around the world—adding a distinctive storytelling element that ties the Montauk destination to the larger global brand. Each piece was designed to contribute to a cohesive, high-impact guest experience from arrival through entry.

The Results: By combining premium materials, custom fabrication, and thoughtful design, Hamptons Signs helped create a signage experience worthy of one of the Hamptons’ most talked-about hospitality transformations. The final result supports Bagatelle’s arrival in Montauk with a visual identity that feels luxurious, memorable, and deeply connected to both the brand and the destination. This project highlights our ability to execute complex, design-driven signage for hospitality spaces where atmosphere and first impressions matter most.
